Origin: Apulia, southern Italy

Ageing: 6 months in French or American‐oak barrique, further 3‐months‐ blend refinement in truncated‐conical bottle

Alcohol: 14,5% vol

Tasting Notes

Colour: impenetrable strong ruby red

Smell: violet Bouquet and Mediterranean scrub scent. Full‐bodied, complex, with great structure and a long
aromatic persistence

Taste: fruity (blackberry, currant, prune, blueberry), spicy (black pepper), balsamic (sage, rosemary, eucalyptus), with grassy, licorice and coffee notes. It’s a wine with an elegant tannin level, which complets and lends a special refinement to the product

Serving temperature: 16°‐18°C

Best with: grilled and roasted meats, ragout, stews, cured meats, furred game
